Fulfilment

Every paid order goes through picking, packing and shipping — or collection — on the packing queue.

Pick and pack

  1. Open the queue

In the sidebar, under Fulfil, choose Packing. Choose a Location. Orders sit in lanes: To pick, Picking, Picked · packing, Packed and Ready · shipped, with On hold above them.

  2. Pick a batch

Choose Release wave to send a batch of orders to picking. On the Pick list, scan or count each line and choose Complete pick; mark a line Short with a reason if it is not on the shelf.

  3. Pack an order

Open an order. Choose Start packing, add each parcel’s Weight (kg) with Add parcel, and choose Mark packed. Print packing slip prints its slip.

Ship or hand over

  1. Ship

Choose Mark shipped and enter the Carrier and Tracking number (and a Tracking link (optional)). The customer gets the shipping email.

  2. Collection

For collection, choose Mark ready for pickup. When the customer comes in, open Counter pickup, find the Order number, and choose Confirm collected.

  3. Hold

Choose Hold and a Reason — an address problem, say — then Put on hold. Release the hold when it is resolved.

Returns

  1. Start a return

Open the order under Orders and choose Create return. Choose the quantities and a Reason, then Create return. (Customers can also start one from their account.)

  2. Approve and receive

On the return, choose Approve (or Reject with a note to the customer), then Mark received with each item’s condition.

  3. Refund

In the refund panel, tick Include delivery charge if it applies, and choose Refund. Damaged items are not put back into stock.
