Event landing pages

Overview

Event organisers use a landing page to give a conference its own page, built from blocks, while the event keeps its tickets, schedule and speakers in one place. The page shows the event’s own prices, places left, sessions and speakers, so nothing is typed twice.

Build the page

  1. Create a page

Under Site, choose Pages, then New page. Add whatever the page needs: a hero, a venue map, questions and answers.

  2. Add the event blocks

Add the Event tickets, Event schedule and Event speakers blocks and choose the Event in each. They show the event’s own ticket prices and places left, its sessions and its speakers, read when the page loads.

  3. Make it the event’s page

Open the event and its Settings tab. Under Landing page, choose the Page and Save landing page. Once the page is published, the event’s address opens it, and Book on the page opens the event’s registration.

Good to know

Change a price, a session or a speaker on the event and the landing page shows it. To go back to the event’s own page, choose None — the event’s own page and Save landing page. To set up the event itself, see Add an event and sell tickets.
