Coming soon and Notify me
Open your store to browsers before you take orders, or announce a product before its release date. Either way, customers can ask to be told when they can buy.
Coming soon for the whole store
Open the settings
In the sidebar, under Setup, choose Settings.
Turn it on
In the Coming soon panel, switch it on and choose Turn on. Customers can browse your store and products; cart and checkout are turned off; and customers can join a product’s waiting list.
Open for orders
When you are ready to sell, switch it off and choose Turn off.
A release date for one product
Set the date
Open the product. In the side panel, set the Release date (shop time zone) and choose Save.
Until then
Until that moment the product cannot be bought, and customers can ask to be notified. The shop’s Time zone is set under Settings.
Notify me and the waiting list
Where a product cannot be bought yet — coming soon, not yet released or out of stock — your storefront shows Notify me when available in place of Add to cart. A customer leaves their email address and chooses Notify me, and is emailed once, in your store’s branding, when the product can be bought.
In the console, the product’s Waiting list panel shows how many are waiting, and Export CSV downloads the list.
